The mission of The National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre is to bring Poe’s works to life onstage, on the air, and in the classroom in Baltimore and beyond. We do that through public events like our annual Doomsday readathon, by mounting full stage plays like our 2025 critical hit A Christmas Carol for Edgar Allan Poe, and by producing our award-winning audio drama series Poe Theatre on the Air.
But we can’t do it without financial support. So we're asking you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us bring the works of Edgar Allan Poe to the people of Baltimore.
Your support won’t go unrecognized (unless that's what you want).
Here's what we have on tap for 2026:
-
Poe Theatre on the Air Season Three, with six all-new NEW radio dramas
-
Poe Theatre on the Air moves to WYPR’s “Sunday Night Radio Theater”
-
Repeat performances of “The Magic of Words” Poe mind-reading show
-
Doomsday 2026, our fifth annual nonstop reading marathon of Poe’s works
-
A fully-staged remounting of our critically-acclaimed stage show,
“A Christmas Carol for Edgar Allan Poe”
