Baltimore's WYPR-FM has launched a new monthly podcast series produced by The National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre on the Air. The series debuts with “The Tell-Tale Heart,” and the second episode is "The Black Cat."

Each month features a fresh, 20- to 30-minute radio drama re-imagining of the best-known works of Edgar Allan Poe, America’s renowned master of horror and suspense.
The National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre on the Air is the only show in the radio station’s lineup of podcasts that follows the model of old-time radio drama. “WYPR is looking forward to this unique podcast offering from The National Edgar Allen Poe theatre and making it a part of our Podcast Central offering hosted by Audiostaq,” said WYPR’s Digital Director Kyle Leslie.
